Turn FaceBook into a Marketing Machine for Real Estate

"If you are one of the 10's of thousands of REALTORS to already create a Facebook profile, you may be enjoying networking with your old high school friends, family and industry colleagues.  Facebook can be addictingly fun, and can take up an enormous amount of time in your day if you let it, but is it working for you as a prospecting tool?  Are you making money from the time that you invest 'playing' on Facebook."

"Social networking is another preference that can help you to enlarge the efficiency of your online marketing campaign. Set up blogs that are linked to your website, write blogs or articles and assist to keep the community informed about what is happening in the real estate market. Social media sites are different. The expectation of individuals who use these sites is that they will have a part in the conversation. Social marketing uses general marketing principles and techniques to generate, communicate, and deliver social messages to consumers. With a rich 30-year history, social marketing seeks to positively influence consumer behavior, not to benefit the marketer."

"There is more proof around today that search engine marketing can be a useful branding tool. What about social media marketing? There is still a lot of doubt surrounding social media marketing and sales, particularly when it comes to measuring that all important ROI. It is difficult enough to determine the value of branding in straight monetary terms – however, that is often the real problem – not the marketing."

Now that Google and others are listing the latest tweets, it might be encouraging to have homes listed in this medium. Real Estate in Google Maps

More, more, more real estate in Google Maps

"First of all, we've made it easier to find real estate listings. Now, you can simply select "Real Estate" from the 'More' button on the top right of any Google Map to discover listings.  From there, it's a simple matter to refine your search using the left hand panel - price, bedrooms, bathrooms, and so on.  Of course, you can still pan the map to search for the perfect neighborhood and it'll automatically update with more listings.

"So with “on-page” SEO you have complete control over how well you’re optimized for Google. This includes keywords in your post titles, title tags, using header tags (h1, h2) and other tactics. Now the one we’re going to focus on in this article is the blog title tag.

Title tags are one of the most (if not the most) important “on-page” elements to ranking high in Google. Search engines such as Google weigh the importance of each word in the title from left to right. So ideally you want your blog post title all the way to the left and your actual blog name to the right."
