Turn FaceBook into a Marketing Machine for Real Estate

Turn FaceBook into a Marketing Machine for Real Estate

"If you are one of the 10's of thousands of REALTORS to already create a Facebook profile, you may be enjoying networking with your old high school friends, family and industry colleagues.  Facebook can be addictingly fun, and can take up an enormous amount of time in your day if you let it, but is it working for you as a prospecting tool?  Are you making money from the time that you invest 'playing' on Facebook."

"Social networking is another preference that can help you to enlarge the efficiency of your online marketing campaign. Set up blogs that are linked to your website, write blogs or articles and assist to keep the community informed about what is happening in the real estate market. Social media sites are different. The expectation of individuals who use these sites is that they will have a part in the conversation. Social marketing uses general marketing principles and techniques to generate, communicate, and deliver social messages to consumers. With a rich 30-year history, social marketing seeks to positively influence consumer behavior, not to benefit the marketer."

"There is more proof around today that search engine marketing can be a useful branding tool. What about social media marketing? "Realtors are being encouraged to start a blog, to obtain accounts on Twitter and Facebook, and to find any other social media outlet to connect with the consumers. In fact, you can find blogs and Twitter accounts dedicated to the selling of one home."
